چکیده
Abstract The present study assesses the monthly variation of land surface temperature (LST) and relationship between LST normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) in Raipur City India using one hundred eighteen Landsat images from 1988 to 2019. results show that a is observed mean LST. highest found April (38.79oC), followed by May (36.64oC), June (34.56oC), March (32.11oC).The lowest January (23.01oC), December (23.76oC), November (25.83oC). A moderate range noticed September (27.18oC), October (27.22oC), February (27.88oC). Pearson's linear correlation method used correlate with NDVI. LST-NDVI strong negative (-0.62), (-0.55), (-0.51). developed (-0.40), (-0.44), (-0.47), (-0.39). weak (-0.21), (-0.24), (-0.29). change weather elements characteristics contribute fluctuation correlation. will be an effective for town country planners their future estimation conversion.

Drought Determination by Using Land Surface Temperature and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index
Today, many places of different locations on Earth especially semi-arid areas face the risk of desertification due to severe drought. However, the very basic data required for the analysis is unavailable for the regions without a meteorological station. In this case, land surface temperature (LST) is derived from a thermal band as an alternative meteorological station’s data. In this research, ...
متن کاملAssessment the effect of drought and land use change on vegetation using Landsat data
Drought is a disaster phenomenon especially in arid and semi-arid areas. Vegetation and its production play a main role in the social and economic issues in every country. In this study, Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) data have been used to monitor drought and the vegetation condition in Sonqor Abad in, Kermanshah province. Meteoro...
متن کاملForage Production of the Argentine Pampa Region Based on Land Use and Long-Term Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Data
Information about forage productivity and its interactions with cultural practices or climatic variation is necessary to plan livestock management and to increase production without damaging the environment. Remote sensing provides a valuable data source to achieve these goals. Here we characterize forage production over a large region (92 million hectares) by analyzing spatial, seasonal, and i...

Land Surface Temperature Retrieval from LANDSAT data using Emissivity Estimation
Land surface temperature (LST) is an essential factor in many areas like global climate change studies, urban land use/land cover, geo-/biophysical and also a key input for climate models. LANDSAT 8, the latest satellite from LANDSAT series, has given lot of possibilities to study the land processes using remote sensing. In this study an attempt has been made to estimate LST over Chittoor distr...
